I had the pleasure of meeting John Killacky who wrote Queer Crips: Disabled Gay Men and Their Stories, a perspective on life as a disabled gay man who also happens to be the current Executive Director of the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington, Vermont. John was not born disabled but became so because of a unique life experience. This past marathoner and professional dancer talks about his life, and embarking on creating access for people historically excluded from experiencing or enjoying the live performing arts!
